The mouth-blown glass looks a round tender mind steadily leaning on the square rigid frame, while their arms can be open inside-out of the box. It aims to find a perfect equilibrium in places, like humans looking for a harmonious interaction in daily relationships.
Traveling through the opalescent glass, the fine quality light (CRI>90) performs a gentle warm white luminance, serenely spreading all over like a floating moonlight. When the bulb life ends, replacement is easy to be done by removing the glass shade.
SIRCLE was inspired from a simple idea of shapes, and shaped into a poetic design step by step. It is a poem uncompleted with a page for anyone to write in their own way. It could be elegant like a fair lady, or a comedy plays in Saturday night with family. The rules is limited yet the play of life is your imagination.

The final stop of our tour left a superb ending, we brought the moonlight into Design China Beijing celebrating the significant Chinese holiday “Moon Festival”.
Following the different attribute of each design, what beneath the light and shadow is full of fun and endless ingenuity, forming the ideas to unique performances.

Along with the energetic brand new design, SIRCLE is honored to had its debut on this stage. With the visual comfort it shines as the moonlight at night, come closer, you would find out the glass orb is rotatable in or out of the frames softly levitating in the air.

The stars move in a regular life cycle, leaving a dazzling ring-like trace in the universe.
Consists of two sizes pendants, SOL’s ring-like lampshade is finely affixed to a metallic copper balance bar, demonstrating the definition of understated luxury.
Flipping light
The adjustable ring tilt allows the pendant to function.
Multiple installation rotate to the custom configuration dictated by the size and shape of a space like floating in the galaxy.

An iconic SEED design, the China LED brings a classic shape into the new millennium.
With immaculately crafted metal body, the China LED is a harmonious blend of new and old fits for both modern and oriental spaces.
What’s the light looks like in your imagine? Designer White challenges our imagination by creating OLO, using the basic geometric symbols: circles and lines to shape the light.
Using the basic elements to create the picture of a light, Designer White challenges our every imagination by series that is designed to be limitless in possibilities.
“Where the light comes from?”
Adjustable hollow lamp shade releases the soft luminance with warm white 3000K and fine quality of light (CRI>90). 350 degree rotary shade interact cleverly with various user scenarios: lights-down to get table more Illuminance, enjoying reunion dinning time with beloved; lights-up toward ceiling turns to night mood, grooving with dizzy atmosphere.
Circular suspension conveys the nostalgic expression traced back to round table, which symbolizes “reunion” in traditional Chinese dining.

With an easy one-touch-dimmer, you are one fingertip away to letting your imagination can run loose and allowing the fun to begin.
Inspired by journey in her early 20s, Designer Dou came up ideas of FUJI and combined mountain-like silhouette with SEED iconic opal glass. Due to admiration for FUJI mountain from people, various images are transformed and seen everywhere in Japan — graphics, patterns, posters and festivals. For local people, the holly mountain is no doubt the power of culture cohesion, on the other hand, it’s also deep impression for foreign travelers.
When talks about her journey, similarities and differences between two cities would be the first thing arose. “Tokyo and Taipei are both capitals that highly populated with crowds, buildings and rush traffics around, people seem to be alike busy. However, there are always unique components that remind you where you actually are. Such as pastel redness of torii, it’s pretty different from the color red that we used to take in Taiwan.”
When getting close to issue of “syokunin”, which means “craftsmanship” in Japan, DOU shared aspect she discovered through local brands and select shops. “ In Japan, they pay attention to the whole process of building up the collection, and never neglect how they did it and why we should notice them. I think it’s a point that their narrative always comes with comprehensive and deep prospective inside .”
“Syokunin” is also an issue of self- awareness — enjoy the style you lead without being lost in catch trends. Understanding yourself with confidence should be the essence of the virtue. Since being enlightened through this mindful journey, DOU decides to realize her ideation within her design work—FUJI.
Mouth-blown opal glass is material which gently performances the purify craftmanship. With this elaborate material, although thickness of shade wouldn’t act precisely symmetrical, the luminance it expresses just as natural as how we feel when watching the sunrise in person. Rotary buckled on solid painted aluminum, the energy from LED module can aptly cooled down to avoid the excessive heat. Two color versions available: Matt brass and minimal matt black.
FUJI is able in compositions fit different interior styles and needs. Aside from standard types of single pendant and small clusters, FUJIPF12 allows much more configurations and being the focal point in the space.
Hangers mounted on the ceiling add visual interests into cable. By keeping fragments on top, cable extends the lights within other axes. In practical way, lights can also easily crossed among different spaces with an only electrical outlet.
Fresh, classy and soothing, FUJI light interprets places into tranquil ambience with freedom.

First step of SEED tour has always been Design Shanghai in March. This year, we returned with our new series and ideas continued from annual exhibit we held in the end of 2018.
Lighting fixtures play roles of connection between people and space. Contrast of black and white shares comparison of various arrangement. While black represents modernity, white gives off the refreshing vibe and shares totally different feeling.
Elements of square holes indicate windows, create different experience within the glance and peek. Possibilities are always beyond our imagination.
In keeping with the gist of our new series of fixture: have the lights become visual center of spaces, we enhance decorative feature and ask a breakthrough on chandelier. FUJI PF 12 represents this prospective while all the single illuminations are allowed to extend by hooks on ceiling. With an only electrical outlet, lights could be shared easily among different spaces.
▲SOL｜Pendant, Floor Lamp
Lighting fixtures should show not only in a necessary, practical way, it could also be a new choice of artsy acquisition. Arrange SOL pendants into a cluster, they happened to look alike planet floating on star tracks. With utility of LED strip, the light source seems to be impeccable with no visual conflict with stylish interior design.
Main series of circular pendant – OLO interacts ideation among modernity and tradition. Round table has been a classic object traced back to Chinese culture, contemporary look of copper and black blend a new view within the dinning space. Slice lightness from top of hollow circles also lights up the blind spot closed to the ceiling.
We share lightness by large fixtures, however, tiny lamps as HOODIE, MUSE, FIREFLY tend to be more personal and take place in private time. Ideation of SEED is concentrated in the series, such as metalize texture or concrete material, have always been iconic features of SEED for years.

Designed by Li, Hui-Lun, who inspired by her little boy who shows strong curiosity with discovery of the world. HOODIE, born with an opal glass and whimsical frame, embodies an explorer who’s always ready to brave the world. Spanned across an underlying need of those who avoid bothering their better half in the midnight, direction and beam are both adjustable in the design. To tick the boxes, HOODIE comes with a rechargeable light source that can easily fit the place without electrical outlets, even transition to a wall sconce. ——Nostalgic enchantment through poetry and reality
FIREFLY, with a lovely silhouette inherits from flower petals and fan, was designed by Zhang, Huan-Rou. Fireflies and fan in summer night had always been nostalgic enchantment in Chinese poetry. Not only remains soften illumination, FIREFLY also contains the sophisticated thoughts with contrast color. By ideations of creating new decorative image, Rou refreshes our view by interaction of classic literature and modern industrial design.

—— Pop up your inspiration!
Muses symbolized the greatest of arts and sciences in Greek mythology. MUSE from SEED is defined as the source of creative ideas. New ideas somehow come up in original moments, the simple flick of switch embodies the pop-up moments of sudden inspiration. Concrete base inherits the iconic material of SEED, translucent blown-glass softly translates the stirring hope into a daily object. With the simplest state, MUSE is always the sincerest greeting gift as well as the blessing for beloved ones.

We have been honored to announce that Hercules Floor lamp, which is designed by Chen, Chao Cheng, was given a fabulous award this year: Special Mention with German Design Award 2019. Presented by German Design Council, it is well acknowledged as one of the top international design accolades. The award is highly respected across the globe, innovative and trendy products are discovered with the award, it’s certainly a big honor and breakthrough for SEED.
The HERCULES series was launched as tribute to the strong, courageous character of Greek mythology. Featuring brilliant mechanical structures while maintaining the essential spirit of design, he shapes a stunning balance between form and function. It’s creative ingenuity provides an interactive users scenario by turning on and dimming the LED light via a touch switch, adjusting the rotating shade and creating a perfectly placed arc with the handily lever. Hercules absolutely combines ambient lighting with the directional functionality within an LED task floor lamp.

During October 2018 we’ve also set “Design Explosion” in our exhibition, sharing know-how of production the craftmanship as confirming the detail with undistracted attention. Hercules, as representative among Seed lighting, it is also the one fully embodies our brand ideology.

Before celebrating for our 27th anniversary, we are delighted to announce the new page for SEEDDESIGN – the New Concept Store opens in Hsinchu, where is considered as Silicon Valley in Taiwan. As the center of technology and vigorous innovation, this city somehow shares an image with busy dizzy pace. But For SEED, we want to convey another sense of life. Located in a school zone with green landscape, the new store shares a gallery -like and unique tranquility with visitors.
Interior was designed by TID Award winner Indot Design team based in Taipei. Through the wide, clear window, mellow scene of community was seen along with natural brightness. Flexibility in spatial plans and lighting arrangements was obtained by the base of plain white, earthy and neutral colors.
We also reserve spacious space for large configurations such as FUJI P12, APOLLO, and also stay the smooth traffic flow. Besides from traditional retail store, artsy elements such as display frame create even more chances of interacting and idea generating.
The New Concept Store is freshly opened to both the public and designers. Take a breath and come and discover new image of SEEDDESIGN!
