We are so thrilled to share the side shots of our 2022 launch event this October in Taipei. Over a hundred guests’ presence brought the light to the party, it was great to see the partners from far-off cities and the talks had been fruitful with joy!
During the event, our lighting designers conveyed their inspiration and perspectives on how they created design concepts and details of the latest collections– KONNECT, OLO Φ portable, WÚ, LISA, and WING. And Meiric, the design director, shared his experience and knowledge on how to overcome the challenges of the lighting design process.

Vibing this party we had a DJ playing great music at the same time echoing SEED’s iconic device—DJ Dimmer Base— and we made a transparent unit demonstrating how the gears transmit to the dimmer, so when rotating the base clockwise, the light would gradually turn on, like DJ’s with their turntables to control brightness by scratching.

After showing a series of new works for late 2022 and 2023, we would like to say a big “Thank you!” to all those who participated. Thank you for spending a great afternoon with us.
Composed of simple lines, LISA smoothly shifts light from linear to cross through the free rotation of crossbar, drawing in a warm flow of light as a visual effect of ever-changing light and shadow.
Simple yet versatile
Simple and neat, the designer has created an intriguing piece by subtly interweaving interactive elements and geometric lines. The three light poles can be operated individually—either in parallel or in random directions.
Subtle and refined
The purer the line, the more craftsmanship is required. Looking closer you will see the light poles are accurately aligned when they turn linear. Each space tolerance in between has to be taken with precision through back and forth multiple processes – stamping and forming, cutting and meticulous polishing – each step is crucial, demonstrating the subtleness and purity of the piece of work.
Comfy-cozy in the natural warm light
LISA features high-performance LED CRI 98, as natural as sunlight restoring the true color of the object. And comes with thoughtfully designed diffusers, emitting soft light and reducing glare for a sophisticated lighting atmosphere.

The light poles can be rotated at will to satisfy the basic illumination and to guide the visual effect in the space with their smooth beam line.
LISA floor lamp
Equipped with optical sensor dimming to control the brightness by simply pausing a hand in front of it, or waving a hand to switch it on/off.
LISA wall lamp
LISA can also be a supportive partner next to a dressing mirror or vanity mirror, emitting beautiful and natural light without bothersome shadows.

TRAM
With unrestrained lighting layout, TRAM consists of genuine brass for its electric conductivity, the lamp spots wirelessly connect to the brass track, that can be repositioned and 360°-rotated.

Pure expression yet superior light. The square-shaped lamp body extends downwards from both sides, ideally forming an anti-glare shield while the inner sand gold coating creates a delicate reflection.

DAWN PL4
DAWN PL4 collects 4 lamps into a linear suspension, each lamp is individual for flexible beam angle and light direction adjustment by simply rotating the lens shade. No matter focusing the luminaire on the delicacy; Or spread the light evenly creating a suitable reading zone, DAWN PL4 can be set exactly to suit your needs.
OLO Φ PL4
Having a steady frame joined in, that balances the flexible movement of light. The linear U-band frame holds the four of hollow shades, which reduces light contrast and allows the light to diffuse in a gentle, calm, and graceful way.
Have you ever experienced eyes fatigue and blur after sitting under a pendant lamp for a while? This short symptom of glare is probably caused by improper use of lighting such as wrong hanging height.

After the success of the OLO Φ table lamp, we are thrilled to receive another Red Dot Award, one of the largest and most influential design competitions in the world. This year, the winning lamp is SQUARE, designed by Chen Chao-Cheng. It features a subtle, streamlined design and brilliant functionality. We are also honored that SQUARE has been recognized by the German Design Award 2022.
Embedded with high performance CRI 98 LED*, SQUARE contains the quality of light with a thoughtful design. The body extends downwards from both sides, ideally forming an anti-glare shield while the inner sand gold coating creates a delicate reflection.
*A color rendering index (CRI) is a quantitative measure of the ability of a light source to reveal the colors of various objects, where a higher number represents higher ability, with one-hundred being the highest as nature as the sunlight.
Equipped with four-step color temperature tune and touch-less brightness control, SQUARE brilliantly deliver a pleasant atmosphere no matter for working, dining or relaxing mood in different scenes.

Following the debut of OLO in 2018 and the subsequent launch of OLO Φ in 2020, the simple geometry and the dual illumination of the hollow shade have refreshed people’ imagination of luminaires. Now, the family is delighted to welcome its newest members: OLO Φ single pendant and OLO table stand lamp.
OLO Φ pendant
An extension of the Φ series ring-frame design, this new pendant is featured by its remarkable flexibility. As though floating in the air, it emits a soft, warm light that builds a comfortable space with ease.

DODO, the bird from the fairy tale Alice in Wonderland, appears this time as a big bird, still in the whimsical and iconic big head yet with a huge body with a large span to achieve practical simplicity. Its adjustable shade and long arm allow you to tilt any angle your heart desires in everyday life.

Inherited by the signature design from the misty raindrop shade, the internal sandblasting treatment gradually blurs the translucent mouth-blown glass that distributes the brightness in a mysterious hazy form.
Excellent light quality
Embedded with high performance LED CRI>95 (R9>80) as natural as sunlight, and the high-efficiency 56-degree angle optical lens, the light sets off the finesse of the translucent glass shade and gives that fantastic glow.
Refined process of the interior sandblasting
Diffusing along with the delicate sandblasting layer as if an ethereal mist with golden lining floating in the air, creating a rich and elegant scene.
Besides aesthetic considerations, from a practicality standpoint, master craftsmen also take into account how the lights were designed in ensuring the lampshade offers practical illumination without the unwanted glare.
Another distinctive feature of MIST LED is its iconic DJ Dimmer base on the portable lamps _ Just softly slide the base by fingertips to adjust step-less brightness and switch on/off.

After 16 years of rooting in Taichung, the brand store has relocated to an exclusive residential district and reopened in Autumn 2021. There are two floors in the new showroom, totally 230 square meters overhauled by the creative team INDOT Design.
On one side of the wall, there’s a large floor-to-ceiling window that opens out into the spacious sidewalk bringing the graphic outside in. Where the 1st floor is all painted in white, on the 2nd floor it’s full of black and grey partitions, and a lot of wood elements, so the visitors will be able to get a scenario what the lamps will be looked like in different interior spaces. And the showcase island display is like touring a science museum, so visitors are able to come closer and interact with the exhibits to see the detailed craftsmanship of the products.

Interactive structure embeds functionality often featured in Seed’s lighting designs, so does it in the brand store. Whether the floor plan arrangement of materials and colors, the high and low showcases or the sliding-rotating walls welcoming the graphicness, they create numerous possibilities in the space when people interact with them.
The whole-new free and versatile space captures the unique features of SEED’s lighting and takes you to another realm to feel the warm and delicate luminance through interaction.

As the natural exterior palette gently shifts to a scheme of earthy colors, it’s a perfect time to integrate warm and neutral tones into interior spaces for a coziness level off the charts.
Introducing the new color launch of the HUAN Pendants : Pearl Cocoa and Oatmeal. Visually calm and restful, the new colors draw a homey feeling in interior spaces with warm neutrals.
