Designed by Lee, Ying Hsuan, FLO avoids expressive gestures and visual excess. Instead, it captures emotion and rhythm through the quiet interplay of light and shadow. Its flowing form may appear effortless, yet it is shaped by careful consideration of proportion, structure, and light.
A Gentle Turn of Light
With the flow of light at its core, the design refines the lampshade and internal shielding through precise calibration. Light is gently contained to reduce glare and spill, revealing an illumination that feels calm, balanced, and enduring—reflecting FLO’s defining qualities: flow, enclosure, and directional flexibility.
Five Forms, One Spatial Language
Light should never be limited to a single expression. The FLO collection spans five configurations across pendant, wall, and table lamps, allowing it to function not merely as an object, but as an extended vocabulary within spatial lighting design. Across scales and settings, FLO moves with ease — from a sculptural focal point to a quiet presence in more intimate spaces — offering a calm, refined quality of light that gently shapes everyday moments.

The extended design continues its familiar silhouette, where a crescent-shaped handcrafted glass shade emits a warm, delicate glow. As night falls, it lights gently—like a quiet moon in the sky—softening the darkness and bringing a sense of calm to the space.

What sets the wall-ceiling design apart is its quiet presence.
Combining the qualities of both wall and ceiling lighting, a single fixture can be installed overhead or mounted on the wall. With simplified lines, it blends naturally into ceilings and walls alike, resting gently within the space without drawing attention.
Poetic in form, at ease anywhere
With greater flexibility in placement, spatial planning opens up new possibilities. Pensée functions as both a ceiling and a wall light, adapting easily to entrances, corridors, vanity areas, living rooms, or studies. Installed overhead, it illuminates the path below; mounted on the wall, it becomes accent lighting and a gentle guide within the space.
As people pass by, pause, read, or gather their thoughts, Pensée quietly glows nearby—light as a gentle companion.
Between light and wall, colour unfolds subtly
Four colour options allow the lamp and the wall to enter into a quiet dialogue. Sometimes it blends seamlessly into the background, letting the light take centre stage; sometimes it gently steps forward as a subtle mark within the space. With different wall materials and colours, the lamp reveals new characters—bringing quiet yet lasting variations to the interior.

這個念頭，開啟了 SEED 長達兩年多的水泥實驗。
Around the world, nearly 200 million people live with chronic insomnia. In a fast-moving, always-connected world, sleep has quietly become one of the greatest challenges of modern life.
Long work hours, family responsibilities, and the constant rhythm of daily demands often keep our minds racing long after we lie down. If the world cannot immediately grow quiet, perhaps we can begin with something simple — turning off the lights.
This World Sleep Day, we invite you to create a personal “buffer zone before sleep.” Through three stages of lighting at home, allow the body and mind to settle, rediscover the quiet of the night, and practice the gentle art of letting yourself rest.

In nature, evening light gradually shifts from the cool brightness of midday (5000–6500K) to the warmer tones of sunset (around 2700K). This gentle transition signals the body to slow down and prepare for the night.
In modern life, artificial lighting and glowing screens often blur the boundary between day and night. Keeping home lighting within a warm range of 2700–3000K helps restore a more natural rhythm and reduce blue-light interference with melatonin.
When a living room is bathed in warm, sunset-like light, both body and mind begin to unwind.

Turning on a bright ceiling light may signal “daytime” to the brain and disrupt the sleep cycle. A well-designed bedside lamp provides enough light without disturbing your sleep.

In the lighting philosophy of Seeddesign, a bedside lamp is more than illumination. It is a gentle punctuation mark at the end of the day — accompanying the final page of a book, gathering the scattered moments of a busy day, and quietly handing them over to the night.
Many years ago, Meiric visited Florence and was intrigued by the “Jersey Barrier”, a modular concrete employed to separate lanes of traffic, that stood in the middle of the square. The delicate work of the fence amazed him and broke his stereotype against “cement objects”. While he was impressed, a bold idea occurred to him: “Is it possible to use cement as a material for lighting?”
That’s where it all began the following cement materials experiment for over two years.
At that time, you could never see a cement lamp in the market, every experimental idea was an adventure. At the beginning it was even difficult to reach a breakthrough making the cement strong enough to avoid cracking. After a series of failures, the R&D team turned to looking for a composite material. In a series of approaches eventually coming up with a formula and appropriate temperature that effectively accelerated the concrete curing and crystallized in this way encloses the aggregate particles and produces a dense material , ensuring its comprehensive and impact strengths by a critical 40-degree impact test. The mold, on the other hand, is hand-made with inner high-precision silicone rubber + outer plaster for easy demolding and for giving that delicate and smooth texture.
In addition to material innovation, another key factor to make this work is the production process management.
The mixed cement has to be evacuated by vacuum machine to 6~8 cmHg (Centimetres of mercury, while the atmospheric pressure is 76 cmHg). After the machine stops stirring, the concrete material begins to solidify. At this time, the master has to precisely control the timing and volume of the grout, keeping it slow, and focusing on every detail, while filling into the mold. Any tiny slip-up in this stage may result in unwanted imperfections such as cracks or holes.
In order to prevent the shade from cracking by dramatical change of temperature and humidity, there is a wash-and-soak procedure extending the dry-up period. The cement crystallized in this way encloses the aggregate particles and produces a dense material. Each piece is gently hand washed and polished by P600 sandpaper back and forth one at a time and carefully wiped and patted dry., and it is then removed outdoor 5-7 days for drying. A cement lampshade is officially completed.

As 2025 unfolds, the SEED Taipei Concept Store reopens after over nine months of thoughtful renovation, bringing renewed light to the city.
More than a showroom, the renewed space combines SEED’s full lighting collection across themed floors—each a quiet experiment in light and space. Every detail has been refined—from spatial flow to a rich palette of materials, including warm wood, pristine white, textured concrete, and custom finishes. Together, they reveal the many expressions of light and how it subtly transforms space.

Following a warm welcome from the host and a presentation of the classics by our senior specialists. Our in-house designers took the stage across three weeks, each week featuring a different voice: our Design Director, a senior designer, and a new-generation talent. They shared their creative journeys—from the first spark of inspiration to the challenges of bringing each idea to life. They spoke of the delicate balance between structure and beauty, and the technical hurdles that shaped their designs. Through each story, it became clear: a light is never just a product—it is a thoughtful exploration of illumination and life.

Taking advantage of the physical properties of Polycarbonate, KONNECT fixes the lamp shade and diffuser with only 8 cards, achieving glue-free, easy removal for future maintenance and recycling.
The excellent LED light quality is also highly efficient and can be lasting for a long time, when a malfunction occurs, the board can be handily replaced avoiding potential reverse logistics.
In addition to using recycled paper pulp for packaging, the lamp can be minimized to a flat shape reducing the size and carbon footprint generated during transportation. All of which sustainability and durability are implemented caring for the environment.

This year, we unveiled the opening of Design Shanghai 2024. These highlights drive playful creations, meet complex design needs, and let the imagination soar.
Mr. DJ, one of our latest designs, stands out with its pure mechanical aesthetics and genuine brass gears showcased through an intriguing clear DJ base. KONNECT presents a range of pendant and desk lamps with flippable lampshades, blending striking design with practicality. The new HALO series features intricate pleated fabric shades and high-CRI 90 light sources, replicating natural sunlight.

Along the aisle, visitors engaged with a wide range of classic products, including SQUARE, WÚ, and MIST LED. As they turned to view the unobstructed 4.1-meter-high main section, many gathered around the luminaires with curiosity. It’s wonderful to see how these interactions deepen the bond between people and light.

Inherited from SEED’s classic design— the DJ Dimmer,the new Mr. DJ combines minimalist style with an interactiveand engaging user experience,with a transparent and mechanical-inspired design.
The highlight of Mr. DJ lies in its transparent mountain-shaped base, which showcases genuine brass gears through elegant outlines. As the base rotates clockwise, the central and outer arc gears transmit movement to the dimmers, gradually illuminating the space. This intuitive operation creates a captivating and rhythmic flow of light.
Crafted with utmost precision, seasoned craftsmen painstakingly adjust each gear to ensure the seamless transmission of movement. Professional measurement tools are employed to set the optimal positions and meshing depths of the pure brass “half- moon gears.” Moreover, the center of the base incorporates “single-row angular contact ball bearings,” commonly found in precision machinery, guaranteeing both stability and a smooth turning sensation.
Mr. DJ introduces an innovative approach to lighting design by incorporating “single-row angular contact ball bearings” into its structure. This inclusion significantly reduces friction resistance during the base rotation, resulting in a silky-smooth turning experience. Like a DJ effortlessly manipulating a turntable, users can adjust the rhythm of their lighting with ease, all while enjoying a delightful and tactile experience.

The use of bearings in the lamp not only enhances the handily smoothness while operation but also ensures its durability. By reducing wear and tear on the parts, the bearings contribute to making the lamp last for a long time. The rigorous rotation tests conducted by the R&D team further validate the longevity of the lamp, guaranteeing the structure can withstand at least 23,000 rotations. In other words, it will still last for 20 years even if you play with it on a daily basis!

Beginning in 2019, OLO has brought brand-new perspectives on lighting and has continuously extended its product family ever since. This time, the OLO XL enlarges the classic hollow lampshade, becoming one of the new members to spark imaginations and create combinations of light atmospheres for diverse spaces.
The OLO XL maintains the classic hollow lampshade design while preserving the high quality of color rendering and color temperature in its light source. By enlarging the lampshade from its original 13cm to 20cm, subtle adjustments and modifications in the design proportion have been made, resulting in a harmonious appearance that enhances its overall aesthetic appeal.
The OLO XL embodies a bold new design concept and functional application. It represents a visual breakthrough and boasts adaptability to various environments, ensuring that large-area illumination is more accessible than ever.
This twin lamp is the perfect choice for compact areas or small dining tables thanks to its rotatable structure. It adds a vibrant and playful touch to any space.
Four lampshades appear to hover on the lamp post, creating a light and airy ambience even with enlarged lampshades. With the ability to rotate, the lampshade can be adjusted to achieve the desired angle, fulfilling the lighting requirements.
Single pendant lighting is great for all sorts of settings! It’s versatile for dark corners needing extra light or embellishment, bedside areas for pre-sleep illumination, or to quietly enhance your living space with warm highlights.
